Javier Tarin. Voice, eternal matters, painful transit through space and time that we go through, always in solitude; a burlesque walk through the darkness that surrounds us from afar without letting us escape from our absurd destiny; disturbing sound landscape that pretends to lead to reflection, to calm, and finally to the exit of the labyrinth; Javier Tarín’s work uses the voices of four singers (soprano, alto, tenor and bass) recorded in the Phonos laboratory in Barcelona, as well as excerpts from Virgil’s works. Using digital processing techniques and different effects, reverbs, echoes, or granular synthesis, a brief sound collage is constructed, entitled Multis Tenebris.
