Litugia_S2, by Francisco Javier Trabalón, is a work made from materials extracted from the compositional process of a previous piece for flute and electronics (premiered in Berlin in March 2020). The sound content includes a range of sounds, voices, beats, or breaths that were taken from the work with the performer. All these materials have been transformed through digital means and sequenced in the form of a liturgy. The idea is to understand creation as a ritual process in which everyone involved (from the audience to space itself) follows a series of rules (explicit or implicit) that articulate the aesthetic event. The work has been finished in July 2020.
