Edward Sielicki (b. 1956 in Warsaw). Studied composition in Warsaw and Amsterdam. Prize-winner at numerous competitions. Author of more than 150 pieces. Lecturer of music composition, theory and electronic music at the Frederic Chopin Music University in Warsaw. Since 2001 until 2019 he has been teaching composition as a visiting professor in South Korea. He also took masterclasses in France, Russia and Turkey.
Namu in Korean means the tree, one of the Chinese (and also Asian) 5 elements, as well as fire, soil, metal nad water. Tree is very important in traditional philosophy of mutual changes creating the nature. Traditional day of tree is Thursday.
