Spaces and Places. This piece summarises the musical influences i got from the day i moved to the island of Corfu 6 years ago until today. Although life goes on and it’s time to move on, this musical experience will be forever captured in my mind. Therefore in this piece i try to project these influences and at the same time develop concepts such as the journey, the transition, the passage and the idea of our instant existence in a natural or non-natural landscape. Following this idea, the piece shows scenes in different “spaces and places” of others being presented by the sound horizon, others coming from the urban environment and others emerging from the underground. But in the end everything starts and everything ends next to the sea where I find myself to belong there.
